My Collection

More About Me
I’m Stephanie, born in Nice, France, and raised in New York City. My journey in ceramics took me to Kyoto, where I studied at Kyoto Seika University. My work is deeply influenced by the ceramics of Robert Picault and his Vallauris collaborators, Roger Caron and Picasso, as well as the modernist artists of the 1940s in Montmartre, such as Giacometti and Miró. Each piece I create is slow-made by hand in my home studio, where I carve and hand-paint every piece. Fired to cone 10 in my electric kiln, my ceramics blend of spontaneity and imperfection, with organic textures and natural tones. I aim to craft simple, serene pieces that encourage quiet contemplation. All of my work is lead-free and microwave- and dishwasher-safe.
My Specialties
I specialize in natural ceramic tableware for every day use.

Each piece is hand-crafted, kiln-fired, and glazed in a high fire gas kiln.
Crafting Beauty

Each piece is thoughtfully handcrafted using traditional wheel-throwing and glazing techniques, blending wabi-sabi aesthetics with refined European forms.
